Fall Scholarship Cycle

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Community Foundation has opened its 2026 Fall Scholarship Cycle.
MCCF Program Director Beth Fox provided details for Muskingum County residents interested in continuing their post secondary education or pursuing a technical or trade certificate.
“Here at MCCF, we have three cycles for scholarships and we are currently in our fall cycle,” Fox said. “During this cycle is really unique because we have the opportunity to award scholarships to a number of different types of students. So whether you are a graduating senior, maybe you’re a current college student, maybe you’re a nontraditional student. And we also have scholarships out there for the trades and skills.”
Fox says the majority of the fall scholarships are aimed to motivate anybody thinking about finishing a degree or provide support for those who might be looking to change their career path altogether.
“So because they are very different types of scholarships, I would encourage everyone to check out our website www.mccf.org and check out the different types of scholarships, what the different requirements are, the different descriptions of those and then yes, we will also have a direct link to how you can apply. The application process itself is really simple, a few essay questions, get to know you,” Fox said.
To view the full list of available scholarships, you can visit mccf.org. The deadline to apply for most of the fall scholarships is November 1st.
