Stephen Ford

Stephen “Pet” Clyde Ford Sr, 82, of Cambridge, passed away May 3, 2026, at Ohio Health Kobacker House Hospice.
He was born on September 3, 1943, in Cambridge, son of the late, Richard Frank Ford Sr. and Ellen Finney Ford. Pet worked at the State Hospital as a supervisor for several years until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, and talking to friends and family on the front porch.
He is survived by his children, Stephen (Jennifer) Ford Jr., Richard (Kirin) Ford, Jared Ford, Jennifer (Danny) Floyd, Stephanie (Arkimeem Vaughn) Ford; siblings, Stanley Ford, Jodie Payton; grandchildren, Cassandra Ford, Alexandrea Masters, Alexica (Joe) Florio, Layla Hickman, Jamison Ford, Jackson Ford, Tyler Ford, Nicholas Ford, Frank “Nick” Ford, Trey Ford, Terrell Ford, Tia Russell, Desire Correa, Cierra Floyd, Breyer Ford; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Christine Seaman Ford; children, Stefan Heston, Ruby Heston; brothers, Charles “PeeWee” Ford, Richard “Dump” Ford Jr.; sisters, Delores “Beetles” Ford, Natalie Ford; grandchildren, Amber Ford, and Stephen Ford III.
Per his wishes no services will be observed.
