The Community Bank Promotes Scott Woods to COO

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Community Bank here in Zanesville recently promoted one of their bankers.

Scott Woods received the promotion to Chief Operations Officer in December as is excited to move forward with his career.

Woods has been working in banking for 26 years, spending some time at Advantage Bank and Huntington in Cambridge, but the last 3 years have been with The Community Bank.

“I take a great deal of pride working at The Community bank.” Woods said. “I think It’s an opportunity to really give back to our community and being in a Community Bank, it lets us really take care of our customers, lets us make a difference in our communities and that definitely aligns with my values and I really look forward to the opportunity.”

Eric Holsky, the President and CEO of The Community Bank, says they were excited to choose Scott to fill this role and are eager to see him grow in his career.

“The COO Position here, the Bank’s been growing. We’re about $700 Million in assets and we’ve grown quite a bit in the last few years.” Holsky said. “The Operations Area is a vital part of our organizations, sometimes it’s the unsung heroes that are behind the scenes, you don’t see them out on our billboards, you don’t see them out in public as much. But they are vital to what we do, they deliver our digital piece of our electronic banking.”
