She graduated in 1945 from Junction City-Jackson High School in Junction City, Ohio, where her graduating class motto was, “We can because we think we can.” That spirit of determination carried her throughout her life.

Wanda’s faith in God was deeply important to her. She drew comfort and strength from her belief and found peace in knowing she would one day be reunited with her Savior.

On December 19, 1948, she married Donald Charles Hannan, whom she met while attending beauty school. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and devotion. They shared many years together until Donald’s passing on June 20, 1979.

Wanda was talented, hardworking, and known for making others feel beautiful. She opened a beauty shop in the enclosed front porch of her home in Roseville, Ohio, where she faithfully served her clients for many years. She continued working until the age of 70, when she retired.
