WHIZ Part-Time Weather Opening

WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio is currently seeking a part-time meteorologist. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn the WSI system and enjoy being part of a tight-knit community.

This candidate would do weather live for our 10pm and 11pm newscasts on Saturday and record weather for our Sunday 10pm and 11pm shows. This person would also update weather for our website, social media pages and our three radio stations.

The candidate would fill-in for our weekday meteorologists. This position is suited for someone that is currently taking meteorology courses or is looking to get their foot in the door in broadcasting.
