Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information about two thefts at two Newark homes.

The first burglary was December 13th or 14th. Someone broke into a shed at a home in the 900-block of Idlewilde Avenue and stole a Craftsman toolbox valued at $2500, an air compressor and a kerosene heater.

The second happened sometime between December 21st and 29th on Postal Avenue. Someone stole jewelry valued at $3,000 and a desktop computer and...

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information on a jewelry theft in Newark.

Newark Police say Monday afternoon around 4:30 two suspects stole diamonds valued at nearly  $11,000 from an unlocked jewelry case at HL Art  Jewelers.
 

Police say a store employee observed the theft and called 9-1-1.
 

The suspects left the store and drove off in a car described as a Gray Pontiac Bonneville.

A local crime fighting group is looking for the the Muskingum County Commissioners to get on board.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that will help with the investigation of a burglary at a Newark home.

Police report on the morning of September 14, someone broke into a home in the 1500 block of Quail Drive West and stole a variety of items including cash, computer software, jewelry and Heisey glass items.
