Thousands of people are now following the Ohio Department of Transportation on Twitter.

It set up an account last year for drivers in six major cities, including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron, Toledo, and Dayton. It allows drivers to see road closures, accidents, and detours in 140 written characters or less.

Muskingum County Sheriff, Matt Lutz, says his office is prepared to handle the winter storm.

While a tight county budget does makes things difficult when it comes to overtime, he says his office has enough people on duty to handle whatever mother nature throws our way.

"If we see that we're going to have a bunch of accidents at a certain time, we can hold one shift over while the other shift comes on. That doubles our manpower for that day, " says Lutz.

Ohio drivers are not happy with the new vehicle registration and license registration fees.

In the last three months, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Ohio State Highway Patrol have collected $6.4 million in license renewal fees for the Highway Safety Fund. The millions of dollars are revenue from the new $20 late fee for drivers who don't renew their license within seven days of it's expiration date. Prior to October, drivers had an entire month to renew their license. Now...

Hundreds of local children are out trick or treating tonight and Saturday so drivers need to be on the lookout.

Children are more likely to get hit by a car during Halloween than any other time of the year. It is suggested to give children flash lights so the light will get a driver's attention. Fire officials say light reflectors on costumes are also helpful in keeping chidlren safe.
