Sunday's dreary weather didn't stop Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church from holding their 3rd annual "Trunk-or-Treat" event. Normally hosted outside with car trunks open and filled with candy, the event was moved inside to keeps kids safe and warm. In comparison to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, keeping kids warm isn't the only safety precaution "Trunk-or-Treat" has to offer.

A fear of Trick-or-Treating along busy road ways and visiting stranger's homes have moved one local church to sponsor "Trunk-or-Treat."
A time when cars lined the parking lot of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Zanesville and hand out candy form their trunks.
"I like for them to be safe and any longer going house-to-house isn't always safe," said Church Member Carol Willey. "Here we know their safe and having a good time...
