The Southeast Ohio 2-1-1 Call Center saw a spike in calls as a result of the severe storms that moved through the area nearly two weeks ago.
In just one day, the center fielded over 220 calls, nearly quadrupling their normal daily call volume.
Center Manager Audrey Foster said the calls keep coming in.

American Electric Power is reporting that as of 1:45 pm there are 346 customers without service in Muskingum County. The Perry County Sheriff's Office is reporting that all Perry County School Districts will be on a 2-hour delay. That includes the Crooksville, Northern Local, Southern Local, and New Lexington School Districts.
