32nd Annual Frazesburg Car Show

FRAZEYSBURG, Ohio – Each Labor Day, the Frazeysburg Lions Club and the Frazeysburg Revitalization Association partner to conduct one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.   

Frazeysburg Lions Club Secretary and Treasurer Dan Osborn explained just how big the little event really is.

“This is our 32nd Annual Labor Day Car Show,” Osborn said. “We just try to have a nice, fun type of show. It’s a sponsor’s choice, no judging, just bring out nice cars, have a good time. We have some food provided by the Frazeysburg Revitalization Association for hot sandwiches and noodles. The Lions members are providing the desserts.”

The event is held at the Township Building and admission is free. Entry for the car show is $10, mums are $7 and menu items are listed. Proceeds go well beyond their renowned eye glasses and hearing aid charities.   

“The money all goes… pretty much stays local,” Osborn said. “We are approaching $100,000 dollars in scholarship grants that we have made. We help with disasters. We did when we had the tornado, we handed out $5,000 dollars in gift cards to local residents that suffered damage.”

This year’s car show featured more than 65 entries and offered an eclectic mix of vehicles, from antiques to late model, from stock to modified as well as on-road and off.
