Stockport Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

The Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Morgan County. It happened just after 4:00 pm Sunday on County Road 17 in the area of Coulson Road in Marion Township. Troopers says 56-year-old Jeffery Wayne of Stockport was riding his motorcycle east on County Road 17. Investigators say the motorcycle overturned, slid off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail. Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers says he was not wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash.
