Crews working to repair water main break in Philo

PHILO, Ohio–A water main break in the Village of Philo has left some residents in the Harris Street area without water.

Philo Water Department Supervisor Bob Pletcher said crews are working to repair a small valve on an 8 inch pipe that was damaged Tuesday afternoon.

Pletcher said about 8 blocks are affected at this time.

He said once the repair is completed that a boil advisory will be in effect until further notice.
