Heart Health Event at MCLS

The Muskingum County Library System and Genesis Healthcare are teaming up to help residents learn about heart health.

Cathy Sorensen from Genesis Healthcare will speak at the library from 5:30-6:30pm on Tuesday, February 15 about the risk factors of heart disease, warning signs of a heart attack and prevention for women.

“While we most frequently think of heart health in relation to men and heart attacks, heart disease is actually the number one cause of death in women,” said Amy Goffee the MCLS Adult Services Librarian.
