SeptemberFest is Coming to Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE, OH – Planning is already underway at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center, where organizers are inviting the community to mark their calendars for a brand-new event coming this September.
SeptemberFest is set for September 26th at Pritchard Laughlin, offering a full afternoon of free, family-friendly activities.
“Ross loved texted me and said, ‘Hey, what do you think about this? Everybody in the local area says there’s nothing to do here.’ So, that’s how this came about. I said, ‘I’ve got a couple Saturdays open in September, let’s do it.” Jodi Hill Schott, an event organizer, said. “Once we started it, it just blew up, and now we’ve got four or five pages full of vendors and people who are going to be here.”
The free event will feature food trucks, a car show, bounce houses, entertainment, local nonprofit vendors, and so much more.
“It’s just a full day of family, community fun. There’s going to be a lot of different things here. It’s a day where the community can come together and families of all ages and sizes can come together and just enjoy a day here locally in Cambridge.” Event organizer, Ross Love said.
Organizers hope SeptemberFest gives the community something new to look forward to this fall.
“I’m so excited to even be part of this. Everybody should definitely come out and check it out. Come out for just 30 minutes if you have to.” Vicki Stilion, another event organizer said.
SeptemberFest is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center.
