I-70 East Closure due to Accident

A portion of Interstate 70 was closed to traffic Wednesday evening.

Muskingum County Emergency Management Director Jeff Jadwin said a semi was traveling west on Interstate 70, crashed and ended up in the eastbound lanes. The accident took place between the Airport Exit and Norwich. Jadwin said that fuel has spilled at the scene and the roadway was closed until the semi can be removed.
