Two hunters who got lost in the woods in Coshocton County are safe.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said around 1:15pm Monday they received a call reporting a hunter lost in the woods in the 17000 block of County Road 4 in Washington Township.

Authorities said 55-year-old Sam Shue had gone hunting and not returned by the designated time. A search was coordinated by the sheriff’s office with the use of the K9 units, a drone, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio State Highway Patrol Air Support and local EMS and fire agencies.

While searching for Shue they received a report around 5pm of a second lost hunter, 18-year-old David Miller.

Authorities said both hunters were located and were uninjured.
