Vintage Nostalgic and Collectable

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Many companies have produced promotional materials over the decades that featured celebrities endorsing their products.
Today, some of those limited production items have become highly valuable, diligently sought after and nostalgically appealing. Second Lyfe Vintage is a new store that recently opened in the Colony Square Mall and its Owner Dan Kennedy explained how he turned a passion into a business.
“As far as like the journey to get to selling the vintage clothing,” Kennedy said. “It’s been you know… as far as my passion in… you know sneakers and clothing wear individually, it’s just brought me to the more modern hype of the vintage clothing. Which led me down to so many ways of getting the vintage clothing, new people you meet along your journey.”
Kennedy said it’s been an interesting journey so far in making friends, building a network of people who share similar interests, researching market prices as well as tracking down and acquiring his inventory.
“So I have anywhere from late 70s to early Y2K and information on that would be you know… the Y2K would be up to you know early 2003.” Kennedy said. “But I go all the way back, I’ve got sporting items from the good 90s era, Chicago era, I got vintage Harley Davidson shirts that date all the way back.”
Kennedy noted that the brick and mortar establishment was created to encourage customer interaction, and allow them to fully inspect what they are choosing to purchase.
