Zane Grey Family Day brings music, games, and fun to the Zanesville community

NORWICH, OH- Families and friends gathered at the National Road and Zane Grey Museum for a day of fun and entertainment. The annual Zane Grey Family Day, held today from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featured a variety of activities suitable for all ages.
Attendees enjoyed live musical entertainment by the Wayfarers, a vintage baseball game, and an inside-out barbeque. There was no admission fee, making it a perfect outing for families looking for budget-friendly entertainment.
“We have a huge turnout today, this is a bigger turnout than we have had literally in years, and we’re so grateful for the turnout but also for the weather, we’ve never had weather like this for the last three years,” the Educational Program Coordinator, Betsy Taylor said.
For the kids, the event had a dedicated section with face painting, various games, and a prize wheel. Adults could explore a vendor fair offering a diverse selection of goods and crafts. With beautiful weather and a lively atmosphere, everyone had a fantastic time.
“We’re part of the community, and we like to welcome the community, we like them to come and see us for entertainment and also for education, so seeing people come in and enjoying themselves makes our day,” Taylor said.
Zane Grey Family Day will return next Spring. For more information visit nationalroadandzanegreymuseum.org.
