Zanesville Concert Association hosts their season kickoff party

ZANESVILLE, OH- The Zanesville Concert Association celebrated the start of their 85th season with a kickoff party at Secrest Auditorium today.

The party brought together the community for an afternoon of music and fun. Those who attended had the chance to enjoy multiple musical performances, Kona Ice, Wacky Zacky the clown, cupcakes and more.

“It’s so exciting, I mean to look at all of the artists that we’ve brought to Zanesville, that’s our mission, to bring quality world class entertainment to Zanesville, Ohio for an affordable price, so you can’t even begin to touch the price for our concerts, it’s only 85 dollars and just a little bit more of a service charge to take care of to come to every single one of these concerts and our collaboration with Mount Vernon, there’s five more concerts over there that you can go to, if you do the math it’s less than 10 dollars a concert, where are you going to see all of these people for less than 10 dollars right here in Zanesville, Ohio,” said Zanesville Concert Association President, Sheryl Wise.

This season for the concert association will feature an array of talent. The first show of the season will kick off on September 18th with Michael Feinstein and the Carnegie Hall Ensemble.

“We just love being in Zanesville, oh my gosh, it is such a great place to be and there are so many opportunities, we thank all of our patrons and everyone who comes down to see our events, we just love having a great place here in Zanesville, Ohio, to be able to share music and to be able to come together and just have an enjoyful time,” said Wise.
