ZANESVILLE, OH – A local nursing home is inviting the community to their upcoming Hog Roast.
Adams Lane Healthcare & Rehabilitation will be hosting their second annual Hog Roast this Friday, September 27th from 5 to 7PM.
Heather Hamilton, the Admissions and Marketing Director at Adams Lane, said the menu will be pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw and homemade mac n cheese.
She also said there will be hay wagon rides as well as live music by Steve Spires and his band.
“It’s important to bring the community together,” Hamilton said. “Getting everyone to the building to see what we have to offer at Adams Lane.”
Hamilton said in addition to all the food, there will also be hotdogs, s’mores kits and hot chocolate..
She said more people turned out than they expected at last year’s hog roast and they’re planning for more this year.
“We didn’t realize how big it was going to turn out,” Hamilton said. “We ended up with over 200 people that showed up last year, so it’s a lesson learned. We’re going to be making more food.”
