We Lov Pets and The Animal Shelter Society Team Up for Anniversary Celebration
ZANESVILLE, OH – If you’re thinking about adopting a furry friend, this weekend might be the purr-fect time. The Animal Shelter Society is partnering with We Lov Pets for a special cat adoption event.
In celebration of We Lov Pets’ 24th anniversary, they’re hosting their biggest sale of the year at their Zanesville location, 3853 Northpointe Drive. There will be special deals like 20% the entire store, freshwater fish will be buy one get one free, and saltwater fish will be buy one get one half off. Plus, there will be exciting activities for the whole family, including a bounce house and face painting.
“We are going to have a bounce house for the kids. We’re going to have cotton candy machines, and we’re going to be doing face painting as well. We’re going to have a bunch of little events going on for the kids, like chalk. Just different things for them to do,” We Lov Pets Manager Miranda Cartwright said.
As part of the celebration, the Animal Shelter Society will have cats available for adoption at the store. With an approved application, adopters can take their new feline companion home the same day.
“Bring your lease agreement if you rent. Bring something from your veterinarian because you have to have a veterinarian to adopt from us. We’re going to have paper applications here, and if it’s an approved application, then that feline goes home with you Saturday. That’s our goal with having over 90 some felines right now,” Animal Shelter Society Executive Director April Gibson said.
