15th Annual Y-City Gun Fest

ZANESVILLE, OH- The highly anticipated Y-City Gun Fest returned to the Muskingum County Fairgrounds today for its 15th year.

The Y-City Gun Fest is a way for those who are interested in guns to come together for a day of food, fun and fellowship.

“It’s been a great event, we’ve been able to provide so much money for the Catholic schools of Zanesville, the Miracle League of Zanesville, Muskingum County Old-Timers, we have a lot pride in that and it’s been great to raise that kind of money every year and provide that for the community in that way,” said Y-City Gun Fest Treasurer, Scott Moyer.

The festival offered guests free food, raffles, games, prizes and more. A dozen prizes were won every hour for six hours. There were 62 guns raffled, seven $500 cash prize winners and two knife sets given away. The grand prize this year was a 2024 Ranger 570SP 4×4 from MV Treadway, and the reserved grand prize was a 2024 Harley-Davidson RH975S Nightser Special from Fink’s Harley Davidson.

“The popularity continues to grow, we got our first sell out about three years ago, and it’s sold out ever since, today should be a beautiful day weather wise and we are really looking forward to everybody getting together and having a great day,” said Moyer.

The Y-City Gun Fest will be returning the first Saturday in October 2025. Tickets will go live starting in August. For more information visit YCityGunFest.com.
