First Fall Makers Market

Fall Market

ZANESVILLE, OH- Couple of Crafty Creations is a small business located in downtown Zanesville that decided to create an event for other small businesses to sell their goods.

The first ever Fall Makers Market was held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Muskingum County Welcome Center today. The event featured over 40 local artisans with a wide range of items to choose from.

“It’s been great, the support that we’ve had from the community, we’ve had so many people come in and it’s just now close to 12 o’clock or a little after and we’ve had several hundred people already come through,” said Fall Makers Market Coordinator, Angela Thacker.

Some of the items available included special honey, alpaca fiber stuffed animals, woodworking, bakery items, candles and more. In addition to the local artisans, food trucks were also made available to those who attended.

“I think that it’s important to know that we have several people local that, you know, do a lot of small business, as far as like making things, handmaking items, you know, doing that small business thing, so showing that support to your community I think is super important,” said Thacker.

With today’s great turn out they hope to make this an annual event. To find more information you can visit Couple of Crafty Creations on Facebook.
